Darwin – Robot Created by Romela using NI LABView
Darwin -- A Dynamic Anthropomorphic Robot with Intelligence developed at the Robotics and Mechanisms Lab Romela at Virginia Tech. Darwin uses a robotic system technology using National Instruments LABView. The system developed is adaptable and usable. So, the same system is used in many other similar robotic mechanisms. An initial Design Study was performed at Darwin 0. But it has not that much functional improvement. With the passage of time, it was researched again and again. The robot also identifies the position of the solid objects around it.
